Meet your doula

Guiding families with grace and understanding.

With over 15 years of experience serving bereaved families and a strong Hindu background, I provide compassionate care with dignity and respect, from the first call to the final rites.

With a deep understanding of the tender care a loved one deserves, I guide families through one of life's most challenging times with grace and understanding.

“Comfort, presence, and guidance, so no one faces the end alone.”

Sandora Neesha Chan, CEO & Founder

How I can help

Care with dignity, from first call to final rites.

A death doula does not replace a priest, pundit, nurse, or funeral director. She complements them, offering comfort, presence, and guidance.

Caregiver Respite

Time for family caregivers to sleep, eat, step outside, or simply breathe, while a trusted companion stays close.

Dignified Care & Ritual Guidance

Dignity and tradition

Dignified Care & Ritual Guidance

Respectful support in planning meaningful rituals, prayers, and moments of farewell, working alongside your priest, pundit, or spiritual leader, never in place of them.

Questions, welcome

What families often ask.

What is a death doula?+

A death doula is a non-medical companion who offers comfort, presence, and guidance to a dying person and their family, before, during, and after death.

Do you provide medical care or advice?+

No. I do not provide medical care, medical advice, or treatment of any kind. I work alongside your hospice, palliative, nursing, and medical teams, who remain responsible for all medical decisions.

Do you replace a priest, pundit, or funeral director?+

Never. A death doula complements these important roles. I can help your family feel prepared and supported while your faith leaders and funeral team carry out their work.

When should we reach out?+

Any time. Some families call months ahead, others in the final days. It's never too early or too late to ask for support.

Do you support families of all faiths and backgrounds?+

Yes. I bring a strong Hindu background and deep respect for every faith, culture, and belief, including no religious belief at all.

Where do you provide support?+
